This is a portrait of my boyfriend, best friend, and other half. He's inspired me so much to be a better person, and to make the most of life. He is also a soldier, and this photo was taken just days before his year-long deployment to Afghanistan. I have a print of this photo on the wall above my desk as a reminder of why I will be working hard and staying busy for the next year until he comes home to me, so he can be as proud of me as I am of him.
